From September 22 to 24, the 2023 Hunan (International) General Aviation Industry Expo was held in Changsha and Zhuzhou. Hunan Provincial Communications Planning, Survey & Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Hunan Communications Research Institute Co., Ltd., two subsidiaries of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), participated in the expo, showing the group’s strong strength in fields such as general aviation, digital infrastructure, drone aerial survey, and smart transportation.

With the theme of “general aviation leads a better life”, this expo included a variety of activities online and offline, such as forum exhibitions, trade negotiations, science popularization, brand releases, and flying performances, attracting nearly 400 enterprises, and more than 10,000 professional visitors, and building a broad platform for cooperation and exchanges between domestic and foreign general aviation enterprises and Hunan’s leading enterprises.

Hunan Provincial Communications Planning, Survey & Design Institute Co., Ltd. has mainly showcased its construction and service capabilities of general aviation supporting projects represented by the Changsha Airport renovation and expansion project, as well as the rich achievements in fields such as intelligent perception of spatial information and big data research, smart transportation and digital technology design research, and BIM technology research and application.Especially the exhibited advanced equipment such as drones for aerial survey, tilt cameras and LIDAR as well as the VR panoramic experience of BIM modeling have attracted many visitors.

Hunan Communications Research Institute Co., Ltd. displayed the research and demonstration application results of the national major special project “Intensive Utilization and Demonstration of Multisource Inorganic Solid Waste in Typical City Group of the middle Yangtze River”, as well as a series of highly valuable digital transportation products independently developed by itself based on large-scale transportation and new infrastructure, such as the intelligent high-speed comprehensive operation and management platform, intelligent building comprehensive management platform, transportation infrastructure health monitoring platform, management information system for overload control network, and comprehensive administrative law enforcement system for transportation.

Meanwhile, the advanced technologies such as BIM plus GIS digital information technology and multi-platform digital information surveying and mapping technology were also demonstrated, which received unanimous praise from participating enterprises and audiences.
