Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation wins bid for MESIP
Recently, Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation of Hunan Construction Investment Group and Xi’an Electric Engineering Co., LTD. jointly won the bid for the construction of substations and HT lines of Mali Electricity Sector Improvement Project (MESIP), with a total bid amount of US$52,867,760.48. It is the first overseas EPC project of Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation that funded by the World Bank.
The project is located in Mali, a West African country. It involves a new 225kV GIS substation, transformation of the existing 150kV AIS substation into a 225kV GIS substation, and high-voltage transmission lines between the two substations.
Once completed, the project will effectively improve the severe situation of power shortage in Bamako, capital of Mali, and ensure stable power electricity supply for the development of local economy and people’s livelihood.
