The proposed SWTP comprises construction of an intake, conventional treatment plant, treated water transmission mains, booster pump station and primary & secondary distribution network in Rajshahi.

After the completion of the project, it will effectively solve the problem of safe water use in the Rajshahi area, promote local economic and social development, and improve people’s livelihoods.

At the construction site, more than 400 Chinese and Bangladeshi employees were working hard, with large machines such as excavators and cranes carrying out precise lifting and transferring. With the pile foundation construction work progressing, the project team has scientifically optimized construction time and reasonably allocated resources to overcome unfavorable factors such as long rainy seasons, ensuring the continuity of construction work.

In the next stage, the project department will devote all efforts to the following construction work and complete the established goals with high quality and efficiency.
