Cai Dianwei visits Cambodia-Thai border industrial park
Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), led a delegation to inspect the Cambodia-Thai border industrial park for business negotiations and witnessed the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement between Hunan Construction Engineering Group No.2 Co., Ltd. and Malai Development Co., Ltd.
Peter Keath, chairman of MDC, and Eric Loo, executive director, led the company’s senior management to warmly welcome Cai Dianwei and his delegation. Both sides discussed in detail the following work and conducted on-site inspection of industrial parks.
Both sides stated that they would carry out practical cooperation, advance the preliminary work of the project in accordance with laws and regulations, and strengthen cooperation on other more projects to promote the development of the planned Cambodia-Thai border industrial park into a high-standard border import and export trade, agricultural processing and logistics center in Cambodia.
Then they visited Pang Nakry Real Estate Co., Ltd. (PNK)’s agricultural planting, breeding and product processing base, inspected the current situation of the construction market in Poipet city, and discussed the cargo trade situation of Steung Bat through the Cambodia-Thailand channel, including the future logistics center linking international ports, as well as the feasibility study of the overall construction of the new national highway and railway lines for Thailand.
