Owner delegation of Rajshahi project visits HCIG for inspections and exchanges

On the afternoon of March 8, S.M. Tuhinur Alam, deputy managing director (Finance & Administration), Rajshahi Water Supply & Sewerage Authority(Rajshahi WASA)in Bangladesh, visited Hunan Construction Investment Group for inspections and exchanges with the owner delegation of the Rajshahi WASA Surface Water Treatment Plant project in Bangladesh. Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), warmly greeted them.

Cai Dianwei welcomed the visit of the delegation and expressed sincere gratitude to the local government and Rajshahi WASA for their long-term care and assistance in the group’s project implementation in Bangladesh.

He said that as a key project of cooperation between China and Bangladesh, the Rajshahi WASA Surface Water Treatment Plant project has received strong support from governments at all levels and relevant institutions in Bangladesh from signing to construction. The project has made good progress and achieved phased results.

He added that the group will make every effort to promote project construction by integrating the advantageous resources of its subsidiaries to ensure the completion of the project in a safe, high-quality, and efficient way.

At the same time, based on the project, the group will build a more effective communication and cooperation platform for Bangladesh to secure future construction tasks and potential opportunities, so as to help the development of China-Bangladesh friendship.

S.M. Tuhinur Alam expressed appreciation for the rich management experience, outstanding professional skills, and good communication and collaboration abilities demonstrated by the group during the project implementation process, and is confident that the project can be completed on schedule.

He said that as one of the largest livelihood projects in Bangladesh, all parties are very concerned about the project and it’s anticipated that the project will provide clean water for local residents after its completion.

Bangladesh will continue to strengthen cooperation with HCIG, provide support and services for project implementation, and help HCIG solve difficulties and challenges. It’s hoped that HCIG will continue to implement the project conscientiously, accelerate progress, and complete it as soon as possible, injecting vigorous impetus into the local economic and social development.
