Recently, Autodesk University, the annual event of the world-renowned design software company AUTODESK, was held in the United States. The comprehensive transportation hub project for the renovation and expansion of the Changsha Huanghua International Airport, undertaken by Hunan No.6 Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), stood out from over 300 entries of 35 countries worldwide and won the Greater China Outstanding Recognition for Construction of Autodesk’s global engineering construction. Only five projects in China won this honor. 

The Autodesk Design and Make Awards are aimed at recognizing a series of innovative projects in the global engineering and construction, manufacturing, and media and entertainment industries that successfully apply cutting-edge technologies to drive industry development. 

The event has a history of more than ten years, effectively promoting the application of BIM technology and digital transformation in the global engineering construction industry, while enhancing the international influence of outstanding domestic projects. 

More than 12,000 people from over 50 countries around the world attended this event.

HCIG is the only unit in Hunan Province invited to participate in this event.

The renovation and expansion project of the airport is the No.1 project of the province, and is of great significance to accelerate the construction of a four-hour aviation economic circle in Changsha and enhance the position of Changsha’s economy.
