Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), led a team to Algeria to conduct investigation and hold a series of meetings and discussions from October 31 to November 2.

At the Chinese Embassy in Algeria, Cai Dianwei had exchanges with Zhao Pingsheng, chargé d'affaires ad interim, and Chen Zhong, economic and commercial counselor. 

Zhao Pingsheng welcomed Cai Dianwei and his delegation. He said that for a long time, Algeria has been one of the most important foreign economic markets for Chinese enterprises. Chinese enterprises have undertaken a number of important infrastructure and housing projects in Algeria, with broad market prospects. The Youth Culture Palace project currently being built by HCIG is a key project of concern for the Algerian government and an important symbol of cultural and sports exchanges between China and Algeria. 

He hoped that HCIG will do a good job in project management throughout the entire construction process, continue to give play to its own advantages, actively integrate into local development, and establish the brand image of a Chinese construction enterprise. 

The embassy will continue to support HCIG in further expanding the Algerian market.

Cai Dianwei provided a detailed introduction to the group’s international business operations and project cooperation in Algeria. He said that HCIG is actively promoting the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. and attaches great importance to the construction of the Algerian Youth Culture Palace project. 

HCIG will strictly comply with the local safety production regulations, complete projects with quality and quantity, and build landmark projects of friendly cooperation between China and Algeria. 

In the future, under the guidance and support of the embassy, it will give full play to its advantages in the whole industry chain, create new cooperation growth points, and contribute to the in-depth development of China-Algeria comprehensive strategic partnership.

In Alger, capital of Algeria, Cai Dianwei and his delegation went to the Algerian Ministry of Culture and Arts for discussions and exchanges. The two sides had in-depth communications on further deepening cultural exchanges and cooperation, and promoting the construction of key projects.

During their stay in Algeria, Cai Dianwei and his delegation went to China Harbour Algeria Company to carry out work coordination, and the two sides held talks on the development prospects and future cooperation matters in the Algeria market. 

They also visited well-known local enterprises to negotiate cooperation in fields such as housing construction and electricity.

In addition, Cai Dianwei and his delegation also visited the construction site of the Youth Culture Palace project in Baraki, Alger to learn about the project progress and console frontline employees.
