Chairman Cai meets Nama Water Service delegation
Qais al Zakwani, CEO of Nama Water Service, Oman, led a delegation to visit Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG). Cai Dianwei, chairman of HCIG, warmly welcomed them.
Qais al Zakwani expressed gratitude for the warm reception of the group and highly appreciated HCIG's comprehensive strength and professional experience in infrastructure construction, especially in the field of water affairs.
He said that HCIG's involvement in the upgrading of the water sector and the modernization of infrastructure in Oman holds practical significance.
He hoped that HCIG can continue to leverage its comprehensive service advantages in related fields, explore more cooperation opportunities with NAMA Water Service, and jointly assist in the construction of Oman's water security system and improve local people's well-being.
Cai Dianwei welcomed Qais al Zakwani and his delegation, and introduced the overall development and international business development of the group.
He mentioned that Oman is a traditional friendly country of China, and the two countries have always enhanced political mutual trust and adhered to win-win cooperation. NAMA Water Service in Oman has made outstanding contributions to sustainable development and water security in Oman.
HCIG has always attached great importance to the Oman market. The cooperation between the two sides has a deep foundation and broad space. It's expected that the two sides will continue to work together to contribute new and greater strength to deepen the synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Oman's 2040 Vision.
Before the meeting, Qais al Zakwani and his delegation also visited the group's exhibition hall to gain a comprehensive understanding of the group's production and operation, project construction, technological innovation and other aspects.
Since entering the Oman market in 2019, the group has been actively expanding its presence there and has established friendly and trusting relationships with the Oman government and its partners.
In 2020, it won the bid for the Reinforcement of Alsharqiya Water Transmission System project in Oman. This marked that the group officially entered the core markets of water and infrastructure construction in Oman and the Middle East region, laying a solid foundation for subsequent business expansion.
Representatives from the International Cooperation Department of the group, Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation and SHICO were present during the visits.
