【Hunan Daily】HCIG earns multiple awards for China-Africa cooperation
On February 6, the Asia-Europe-Africa Tripartite Chamber of Commerce co-hosted a symposium on economic and trade cooperation with Africa and the second council meeting of the Hunan Provincial China-Africa Economic and Trade Promotion Council.
During the meeting, outstanding achievements and contributions of units and individuals in the field of China-Africa economic and trade cooperation in 2020-2022 were commended. Several awards were given to subsidiaries of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), such as Zhongxiang Overseas Construction and Development Co., Ltd., Hunan Road & Bridge Construction Group and Hunan International Communications Economic Engineering Cooperation Co., Ltd.
In recent years, HCIG has actively implemented the “Belt and Road” initiative, accelerated its pace of “going global”, and established a diverse international business network involving spot exchange, foreign aid, and trade.
With its presence spanning across 59 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and Oceania, HCIG has successfully undertaken many landmark projects in Africa, including the construction of the China-aided Competitive Wrestling Stadium in Senegal, the Presidential Palace in Burundi, the power grid in Ghana, and the National Highway No.1 in Congo (Brazzaville).
