To advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and strengthen the expansion of overseas business market, Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), led a team to Tajikistan from July 7 to 9 local time to carry out a series of business activities, investigate the operation of the group in Tajikistan, supervise project construction on the spot, visit front-line employees and put forward work requirements.

Wang Shufei, investment director of HCIG, was in the team.

On the morning of July 7, Cai Dianwei and his delegation had a discussion with Arabzoda Nurali, Executive Director of the Project Implementation Unit for Road Rehabilitation (PIURR), Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, to further deepen cooperation.

Arabzoda Nurali said that HCIG and its affiliated Hunan Road & Bridge Construction Group Co., Ltd.(HNRB) have demonstrated excellent professional skills and strong performance capabilities, which have received high praise from the local government and residents. 

It is hoped that HCIG and HNRB can continue to implement comprehensive control in terms of quality, safety and progress in the new project of rehabilitation and upgrading of Dangara-Guliston Road.

He welcomed HCIG to continue to leverage its own advantages and deeply explore the Tajikistan market. The Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan will also continue to support HCIG's business operations in Tajikistan for a win-win situation. 

Cai Dianwei thanked the Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan for the long-term trust and support, and introduced the development and core advantages of the group. He said that the construction of the Obigarm - Tagikamar Road Section is a local livelihood project and a symbol of the friendship between China and Tajikistan. 

HCIG will continue to advance the rehabilitation and upgrading of Dangara-Guliston Road with high quality and efficiency as scheduled. 

HCIG is willing to leverage its professional advantages and capabilities to further deepen cooperation with the Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, and expand the scope of cooperation, thus making greater contributions to the construction of Tajikistan's transportation infrastructure. 

The construction of the Obigarm - Tagikamar Road Section is a key project in Tajikistan and an important part of the China-Central Asia Economic Cooperation Corridor along the Belt & Road Initiative. 

The project now has met the conditions for official opening to traffic. The official inspection and acceptance are planned to be done at the end of July. 

The project of rehabilitation and upgrading of Dangara-Guliston Road is the first green corridor demonstration project in Tajikistan and an important international artery connecting Central Asia and South Asia. Now, all preparatory work has been completed and the construction will soon be started. 

On July 8, Cai Dianwei and his delegation visited Dangara-Guliston Road and Obigarm - Tagikamar Road Section projects in Tajikistan. They inspected the construction site of the Dangara-Guliston Road project, and visited the front-line employees.

During their visit in Tajikistan, Cai Dianwei and his delegation also visited the business representative office of HNRB in Tajikistan, and conducted research on the urban road planning and municipal construction in Tajikistan. 

Relevant executives of HCIG's International Cooperation Department, HNRB, and Hunan Construction Investment Water Conservancy Company attended the trip.
