HCIG participates in Belt and Road CEO Conference
The third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing from October 16 to 17. Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), was invited to participate in the Belt and Road CEO Conference and signed a contract on the spot.
As the opening event and one of the largest events during the forum, the Belt and Road CEO Conference attracted more than 1200 Chinese and foreign representatives of 376 enterprises and institutions from 82 countries and regions.
At the conference, Cai Dianwei signed a framework agreement for investment cooperation in Colombo Port City, Sri Lanka, with a signed amount of US$1.565 billion.
The agreement is a major achievement for HCIG to implement the “Belt and Road” initiative and strengthen friendly cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road, which fits the theme of this summit forum of “High-quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity”. HCIG has made positive contributions to promote the high-quality development of the “Belt and Road” cooperation.
Over the past decade, the co-construction of the “Belt and Road” has changed the pattern of the global industrial and supply chains, and promoted the optimal allocation of resource elements, so as to benefit the world. During the period, the group has actively participated in the co-construction of the “Belt and Road”, and achieved its own great development.
During the forum, Cai Dianwei visited leaders of relevant foreign government departments and cooperation units attending the forum, and conducted in-depth discussions on specific project cooperation.
The leaders of the group’s International Cooperation Department and Sino-Hunan International Engineering and Development Co., Ltd. took part in relevant activities.
