Recently, Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hunan Construction Investment Group, achieved new results in the economic and trade cooperation with Africa. It won the bid for Supply and Installation of an Approximately 59,000 Meters DN1200 Ductile Iron Transmission Pipeline between Idini and CEC Nouakchott - Lot 3, together with China Geo-Engineering Corporation International Ltd. (CGCINT). The total bid amount is US$ 35,007,358.94. 

This is the third French-speaking country market opened in the West African region by Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation after winning bids in Benin and Mali this year, further expanding the company’s international market.

The project is located in Nouakchott of Mauritania in West Africa, with the investment from the Arab Economic and Social Development Fund. The construction unit is the Ministry of Water Resources and Health of Mauritania. The construction involves the supply and installation of water pipelines between Idini and CEC. After the completion of the project, it will effectively improve the situation of tight drinking water supply in Nouakchott and provide stable water supply for the local economic development and people’s livelihood.
