Recently, students from the Training Course on Highway Construction Technology for Pakistan hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by the Hunan International Business Vocational College visited the construction sites of the Jinyushi-Liling Expansion Project of Shanghai-Kunming Expressway and the first contract section of the Yiyang-Changde Expressway Expansion Project.

The Jinyushi-Liling Expansion Project of Shanghai-Kunming Expressway is implemented by HNRB, a subsidiary of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG). At the project site, the students gained a detailed understanding of the basic situation of the project and delved into the group’s technical application and successful experience in the Karachi-Multan-Lahore Expressway (the third section of the Sukkur-Multan section), which is Pakistan’s iconic project.

The first contract section of the Yiyang-Changde Expressway Expansion Project is implemented by HNCIG Communications Construction Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of HCIG. At the construction site, the students learned about the outstanding achievements of the project in progress management, technological innovation, and cost control through watching aerial videos, project reports, and discussions. They showed a strong interest and highly praised the group’s rigorous attitude and superb skills in quality control.

They said that this visit provided a more intuitive experience of cutting-edge practices on construction sites from different levels and perspectives. They had a more comprehensive understanding of project management, construction technology, and quality control, and gained many valuable experience, which will help Pakistan better promote the development of transportation construction.

This visit deepened the mutual trust and understanding between HCIG and Pakistan and laid a solid foundation for future deep cooperation. HCIG will fully leverage its advantages in the entire industry chain to participate in the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, contributing to promoting the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Pakistan.
