Mongolian prime minister attends completion ceremony of thermal station
A completion ceremony for the Expansion Project of Amgalan 116MW Thermal Station in Mongolia undertaken by Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation Co., Ltd. was held on April 19.
Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene, prime minister of Mongolia, attended the completion ceremony and made a speech. He highly praised the company for achieving high-quality completion and production of the project four months ahead of the schedule, which is of great significance to the development of Mongolia’s energy sector.
Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene stated that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and China. The high-quality completion of the project this moment will greatly increase the heating supply capacity of the Amgalan Area in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, meet the heating needs of local residents of 12,000 households and 15 schools and kindergartens, assist the economic development of Mongolia, enhance the well-beings of the Mongolian people, and witness the friendly cooperation between China and Mongolia.
He stressed that Mongolia is now vigorously developing the energy sector. This project will be a new starting point in the construction of energy projects in Mongolia, which is of great significance for the development of Mongolia’s energy sector. The Mongolian government will continue to strengthen cooperation with China and jointly promote more cooperation in high standard, sustainable and people’s livelihood projects, so as to enhance the development of bilateral relations.
The Amgalan 116MW Thermal Station is the fourth project undertaken by Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation Co., Ltd., one of the projects within the framework of the “New Revival Policy” approved by the prime minister of Mongolia, and one of the projects under the consensus on China’s “Belt & Road” Initiative and Mongolia’s “Development Road” Strategy.
The project started construction in May last year and was completed in April this year, 4 months ahead of the schedule. Various work tasks have been completed with high efficiency, quality and standards. It has received full recognition and high praise from the Mongolian government, the Mongolian Ministry of Energy and other departments.
