On the afternoon of April 16, Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), along with his delegation, visited the Hunan Branch of the Export-Import Bank of China (CEXIM). 

Zheng Wei, president of the CEXIM Hunan Branch, gave them a warm reception. 

Both sides had in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on further deepening strategic cooperation, expanding cooperation areas, and promoting domestic and international business.

Zheng Wei said that the CEXIM Hunan Branch and HCIG have maintained a long-term good partnership. As a financial institution supporting China’s foreign economic and trade investment development and international economic cooperation, CEXIM plays an important role in stabilizing growth, adjusting the structure, serving enterprises to go global, and supporting the construction of the “Belt and Road”. 

HCIG has made outstanding achievements in serving the economic and social development of Hunan and implementing the “Belt and Road” initiative as well as the strategy of cooperation with Africa. 

Both sides have highly consistent responsibilities and missions, so there is broad space for cooperation. It’s hoped to further expand cooperation fields, enrich cooperation content, and deepen cooperation in domestic infrastructure construction, foreign contracted projects, domestic and foreign investment, inclusive finance, and other fields. 

The CEXIM Hunan Branch will continue to leverage its professional advantages and enhance its service capabilities and level to provide high-quality financial services for HCIG.

Cai Dianwei expressed sincere gratitude to the CEXIM Hunan Branch for its long-term support and assistance. He mentioned that the CEXIM Hunan Branch is an important strategic partner of HCIG and has provided strong support in the group’s overseas business development process. 

In recent years, the group has stepped up efforts to expand the domestic market and participate in the international market in a bid to promote the integrated development of industry and trade through the innovative model of “industrial and trade linkage”. 

HCIG is expected to receive comprehensive financial support from the CEXIM Hunan Branch during this process, innovate models on the basis of strategic cooperation, and work together to create a new chapter of cooperation.
