HCIWCC wins bid for Changfeng Resettlement Area project
Hunan Construction Investment Water Conservancy Company (HCIWCC) won the bid for the construction project of Changfeng Resettlement Area in Meishan Irrigation Area of Loudi City, Hunan Province. The project is the third one that the company won the bid in Meishan Irrigation Area following the dam project and the permanent construction branch tunnel project of the canal head tunnel. This fully shows the efforts made by the company in the province’s major water conservancy project market.
At the same time, the company has worked to expand markets outside the province, and won the bid for Mengji Water Plant, the new construction project of the third water plant in Huoqiu County, Anhui Province.
The construction project of Changfeng Resettlement Area is located in Xinhua County, Loudi City, Hunan Province, and is a key auxiliary project of relocation in Meishan Irrigation Area.
The land for the project is mainly used for the construction of the resettlement area, a hospital and a school. The total resettlement land area exceeds 50,000 square meters. The total land area of the hospital and school is about 11,000 square meters, with a comprehensive medical service building, a canteen comprehensive building, a school, etc. to be built.
The construction of the project will improve the living environment of 519 people from 134 households relocated in Changfeng Village, laying a solid foundation for the construction of main works in the Meishan Irrigation Area.
The Mengji Water Plant project is the first water project undertaken by HCIWCC in Anhui Province, and an important achievement of the company in increasing its efforts to develop markets outside the province and strengthening regional operations.
The project has a designed water supply capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day. Once completed, it will effectively solve the problems of unstable water supply quality and insufficient water supply capacity in the local areas, greatly improve the domestic water quality of the local people, and achieve good social benefits.
