HCIG Signs Infrastructure Cooperation Framework Agreement with the Republic of the Congo

On January 12, HCIG signed an infrastructure construction cooperation framework agreement with the Republic of the Congo. Wang Daoxi, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, witnessed the signing ceremony. A Congolese government delegation attended the event, led by Jean-Jacques BOUYA - Ministre d'État, Ministre de l'Aménagement du Territoire et des Grands Travaux, Christian YOKA - Ministre des Finances, du Budget et du Portefeuille public, and Bruno Jean Richard ITOUA - Ministre des Hydrocarbures.

Wang Daoxi noted that Hunan attaches great importance to cooperation with Africa. Supported by national-level platforms including the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo and the Pilot Zone for In-depth China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation, such cooperation has continued to deepen and deliver tangible results with African partners. He noted that, following the signing of the cooperation framework agreement, Hunan will provide full support to both sides in advancing key projects under this framework and in creating a new benchmark for China-Africa cooperation.

Jean-Jacques BOUYA expressed that the Congolese side attaches great importance to cooperation with Hunan and looks forward to close collaboration between both teams to efficiently advance cooperation projects into tangible development outcomes, making this partnership a model of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation in the field of China-Africa infrastructure development.
Tan Ding, General Manager of HCIG, participated in the meeting discussions and signed the agreement on behalf of the Group.
