On the morning of June 28, Alkache Alhada, Minister of Commerce of the Republic of Niger, and his delegation visited Hunan Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. (HCIG) for inspection and exchange. Xiong Yongji, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of the group, warmly welcomed them.

Minister Alkache Alhada thanked the group for its warm reception and introduced the policy and market situation of land privatization, agricultural industrialization, foreign investment and construction business in Niger.

He said that HCIG is an enterprise with comprehensive strength in investment, construction and operation, and the two sides have great potential and broad prospects for cooperation in the processing of agricultural products, new energy, minerals and water resources. Alkache Alhada hopes that HCIG will actively participate in the economic development of Niger and jointly promote the modernization process of Niger.
 
Xiong Yongji welcomed the visit of Minister Alkache Alhada and his delegation, and mainly introduced the basic situation and the main business of the group. He mentioned that the group has actively implemented the “Belt and Road” Initiative, making positive efforts to promote the industrialization and modernization process of many African countries. He said that HCIG will actively participate in the construction and implementation of related projects in Niger and make contributions to the continuous development of China-Niger relations and the high-quality development of China-Africa economic and trade cooperation.
 

Minister Alkache Alhada and his delegation also visited the exhibition hall of the group before the meeting to gain an in-depth understanding of its production and operation, project construction, brand honors and other aspects.
 
Leaders of China-Africa Economic and Trade Promotion Council and Hunan-Africa Lianbo International Trade Co., Ltd. accompanied the delegation to participate in the exchange. Besides, the responsible persons of the Marketing Department and International Cooperation Department, Sino-Hunan Overseas Engineering and Development Co., Ltd., and Sino-Hunan Capital Holding Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.
