Hunan Road & Bridge won two bids in Benin
Recently, Hunan Road & Bridge Construction Group Co., Ltd. under Hunan Construction and Investment Group received the bid-winning notice for the two contract sections of 4B1 and 4B1-B, of the second phase of the municipal project in Benin.
The total contract amount is about US$111,930,820, and the funding source is from the national budget. The contract periods are 26 and 30 months respectively.
The project aims to comprehensively upgrade the municipal roads and drainage facilities in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. After completion, it will greatly improve the urban environment and travel conditions of the old city area, and also help to shape a good image of the group in the local market.
Since it entered Benin’s market in 2018, Hunan Road & Bridge has successfully implemented three contract sections of the first phase of the municipal project funded by Deutsche Bank.
Currently, the stormwater management project in Cotonou funded by the World Bank is also in the final stage of construction.
The successful performance of the four projects has been highly praised by the owners, supervisors, and financing institutions, and has laid a solid foundation for future market development.
Over the past five years, Hunan Road & Bridge has won bids in Benin worth nearly US$272986000. This bid-winning is also a phased achievement of Hunan Road & Bridge’s continuous efforts to develop its overseas regional market, achieving the sustainable development in Benin’s market.
