From February 22 to 24, Cai Dianwei, Chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. (HCIG) participated in a series of meetings and discussions in Bangladesh, with a focus on the water plant project in Rajshahi. He successively exchanged ideas with the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Cooperation, Mayor of Rajshahi, and officials of the Water Supply and Drainage Bureau of Rajshahi. Chen Hao, deputy general manager, took part in the inspection.

Representatives of Bangladesh said that the surface water treatment plant is a key project to improve people’s livelihoods in Rajshaxi and marks a good beginning of cooperation with HCIG. The Bangladesh government will provide various necessary services for the implementation of the project. Bangladesh is currently in a critical period of socio-economic development and looks forward to comprehensive cooperation with HCIG in various fields such as construction, transportation, energy, water affairs, and trade.
