To carry out the “Belt and Road” initiative and consolidate the south Asian market, on February 14 to 17, Cai Dianwei, Chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), and HCIG delegation had a three-day business visit and inspection in the Republic of Maldives. On the morning of February 17, Cai visited Embassy of China in Maldives and exchanged views on the project cooperation in Maldives with ambassador Wang Lixin and economic and commercial counsellor Wang Qihui.
