From September 20 to 26, He Baoxiang, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and his delegation came to Hunan for an investigation on the integrated development of the culture and tourism industries and the deep economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa.

During this period, He Baoxiang visited the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation, Promotion, and Innovation Demonstration Park and conducted on-site inspections on work of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Promotion Council (CAETP).

The CAETP, established in 2020, is a high-end think tank, a comprehensive professional service institution, an open resource integration platform, and a market-oriented operation promotion center for China-Africa economic and trade cooperation.

As the standing vice-chairman unit of the council, Hunan Construction Investment Group has dispatched the dedicated team to station in the council, aiming to explore new paths and models with foresight and operability to develop the African market.

Since joining the council, the dedicated team has invited such African countries as the Democratic Republic of Congo and Guinea-Bissau to visit the council, completed studies on relevant countries, and signed multiple memorandums of understanding. They have also visited multiple enterprises in the park, and collaborated on more than 40 industrial and trade projects. These efforts will contribute to building the council into a leading comprehensive service institution for promoting the China-Africa economic and trade cooperation in China.

Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group, and leaders of Hunan No.6 Engineering Co., Ltd. and related units attended the investigation.
