Xiao Wenwei, director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of Hunan Provincial People’s Government, visited Malaysia with his delegation from November 30 to December 2. Tan Ding, vice chairman and general manager of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), joined the delegation.

They came to Hunan Construction Engineering (M) SDN.BHD., a subsidiary of HCIG, in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. After listening to the introduction of the development history, ongoing projects, development plans and other basic information, the delegation affirmed the achievements of the company in recent years, and expressed the need to strengthen team cooperation, create a good working atmosphere, explore market potential, as well as analyze its own competitive advantages for steady operation and development.

During the period, the company and a local enterprise SILAU HASIL SDN.BHD. signed a cooperation agreement for the Sri Hartamas Sewage Treatment Plant EPCC Project, and both parties had in-depth discussions on the future development trends and prospects of related cooperation areas.

The delegation also visited EXSIM Development SDN.BHD. in Penang of Malaysia, a well-known real estate development company in Malaysia, for discussions and exchanges. They witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Hunan Construction Engineering (M) SDN.BHD. and EXSIM.

Besides, they hold discussions and exchanges in local enterprises and institutions such as the subsidiary of Zoomlion in Malaysia, CRRC Kuala Lumpur Maintenance Sdn Bhd, WASCO BERHAD, a local listed company in Malaysia, and Technology Depository Agency, a department of the Malaysian Ministry of Finance, on the development prospects and future opportunities in the Malaysian market.
