Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, led a delegation to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 11. The delegation sought to deepen exchanges and cooperation, advance openness and collaboration, and contribute Hunan's strength to the in-depth development of the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership.  

Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), participated in the delegation with some leaders of enterprises under the group. 

The Hunan-Middle East Business Networking Conference for Competitive Industries was held in Dubai on September 9. 

Cai Dianwei led other enterprise leaders to attend the meeting and represented the group to sign a construction agreement for the SO Hotel Project, Dubai, UAE with Mr. Hefjul Bari Mohammad Iqbal, chairman of MNI Investment Limited.

The project, located in the Dubai Business Bay Area of the UAE, is a super high-rise luxury hotel with a total construction area of 75,000 square meters. 

Representatives from the International Cooperation Department of the group, Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation and SHICO were present during the visits.
