Recently, five overseas projects of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG) won the Hunan Provincial Construction Project Furong Award in 2025. 

The Georgia E60 Expressway F2 project

The Georgia E60 Expressway F2 project is built by Hunan Road & Bridge Construction Group Co., Ltd. (HNRB). The E60 Expressway is an important node on the Eurasian interconnection along the "Belt & Road" Initiative of China. It connects to China via Kyrgyzstan in the east and reaches France in the west. It's the only international transportation link that runs through the east and west of Georgia and connects the transportation arteries of Asia and Europe. 

The E60 Expressway F2 section undertaken by HNRB covers roadbed, pavement, bridges, tunnels, culverts, electromechanical integration, traffic safety, greening and etc. 

It includes 20 single track tunnels, 38 bridges, with a bridge tunnel ratio of 73%, 3 interchanges, 4 local secondary roads, 545,400 cubic meters of earth excavation, 1,155,100 cubic meters of stone excavation, 397,000 cubic meters of roadbed filling, 35 culverts with a total length of 235.72 meters, 16 retaining walls with a total length of 1,619 meters, 1,330 pile foundations covering 16,692.5 meters, 2.29 meters of tunnel micro piles, 185,600 square meters of cement concrete surface layer, and 93,800 square meters of asphalt surface layer.

The Roskill Mountain housing project (Te Māra) in New Zealand 

The Roskill Mountain housing project (Te Māra) is located in the Roskill Area, central part of Auckland, the largest city of New Zealand. It's 8 kilometers away from the city center of Auckland, with a total construction area of 30,746.33 square meters. 

It consists of 116 one- to three-story wooden-frame row houses. The fire resistance level is level one, and the earthquake resistance level meets the highest requirements in the local area. 

The project design has won the Master Build Award, which is known as the Oscar of the New Zealand construction industry. The project has also received the 2025 Outstanding Award in the Real Estate Industry from the New Zealand National Housing Department. It actively promotes the "Chinese standards" to go global and has become a model of high-quality cases of Chinese construction going overseas.

The Seychelles Broadcasting and Television Center project

The Seychelles Broadcasting and Television Center project undertaken by Hunan No.6 Engineering Co., Ltd. is the largest China-aided project in Seychelles since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Seychelles. 

It is not only Seychelles' first fully modern broadcasting and television center with the most advanced broadcasting and television facilities, but also Seychelles' first intelligent office building with a total construction area of 5,600 square meters.

The project has won many honorary titles such as the excellent award at the 9th National BIM Competition and top ten projects among Hunan's China-Africa economic and trade cooperation. 

Expansion Project of Amgalan 116MW Thermal Station in Mongolia

The Expansion Project of Amgalan 116MW Thermal Station in Mongolia undertaken by Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation Co., Ltd. is located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 

The project includes 1 116MW circulating fluidized bed hot water boiler, the renovation of the water treatment station, and the renovation of the air compressor station.

This project is one of the "New Revival Policy" projects approved by the Mongolian government, and it is also one of the projects after the consensus between the "Belt & Road" Initiative of China and the "Development Road" strategy of Mongolia.

After the project is put into operation, it will meet the heating needs of 12,000 people in the Amgalan area.

Construction Project of Péni Liquefied Petroleum Gas Storage Station in Burkina Faso 

The construction project of Péni Liquefied Petroleum Gas Storage Station undertaken by Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation Co., Ltd. is located in Péni Town of Burkina Faso. 

The project built a new oil storage station with a total volume of 110,000 cubic meters, including the procurement, production and installation of 13 tanks. 

It greatly enhances the owner SONABHY's storage and service capabilities for oil products in the western region of the country. 

It is the first oil storage tank project implemented by a Chinese company in Burkina Faso, breaking the long-standing monopoly of French companies in the oil and gas construction industry in Burkina Faso.
