On February 7, Hunan Road & Bridge Construction Group Co., Ltd. (HNRB), a subsidiary of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), won the bid for the China-Aid Project of Road Expansion and Upgrading from Prince House to Masaka (10km) in Kigali of Rwanda, with a total contract amount of US $ 54.81 million.

The project spans a total length of about 10.3 kilometers. The first 1.3-kilometers two-way four-lane section is to be upgraded to an interchange, and the last 9 kilometers needs to be upgraded from two lanes in two ways to four lanes. The main construction includes overpasses and underpasses, roadbeds, pavements, bridges and culverts, road lighting, drainage, and traffic safety facilities. The construction period is 30 months. After the completion of the project, it will greatly improve the local transportation conditions, enhance traffic efficiency, and contribute to the local economic and social development.
