To promote the economic and trade cooperation between China and the Philippines, Cai Dianwei, chairman of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), led a delegation to visit the Philippines from February 26 to 28.

Cai Dianwei visited Huang Xilian, Chinese ambassador to the Philippines, on the morning of February 26. Yang Guoliang, minister counselor of the embassy in the Philippines, participated in the exchange together with the economic and trade delegation from HCIG.

Cai Dianwei went to the bridge engineering project undertaken by Hunan Road & Bridge Construction Group Co., Ltd.(HNRB) along with his delegation from February 26 to 27. They visited the front-line management personnel and the local construction team. Besides, a symposium was held at the project department.

After listening to the report on the project progress, safety, and quality, Cai Dianwei affirmed the achievements of the project, expressed gratitude to front-line employees and their families, and put forward four requirements for the development of overseas business.

The mindset should be enhanced to demonstrate the responsibility of the enterprise. Overseas employees represent the corporate image and serve as a display window for China’s national image. It is important to promote high-quality project construction, so as to contribute to enhancing international friendship and cooperation.
